Expensive business locations
ALCB wanted a campaign which would position the bank as an expert on small business issues, a vehicle to promote its better business banking deal.
Bright brought the relatively uncovered topic of business banking to the top of the news agenda by hooking onto a topical issue of rising business costs and putting it into a regional context.
Through research the ‘business cost monitor’ was created, identifying the UK’s top ten most expensive locations to run a business. As well as delivering fantastic coverage, including The Mail on Sunday, The Financial Times, The Times and Telegraph, a live broadcast interview was secured on BBC Radio 5 Live, promoting the key message: shop around for a better banking deal.
