The Institute of Total Carpet Hygiene (ITCH)
VAX needed a quirky, but authoritative campaign which would help them shout about their new range of Rapide carpet washers. Research that found a moth larvae, dead insect legs and rod-shaped bacteria lurking in typical carpets created the opportunity to shock consumers into washing their carpets regularly. Frightening pictures, alarming facts and serious health risks were communicated by the newly created ITCH organisation who, with total independence, cleverly signposted shaken consumers to a VAX Rapide. A micro-site supported the campaign, as both an information hub and hyperlink to the VAX website.
