Britain’s bumpiest roads
Potholes are an emotive subject and are guaranteed to get motorists – and the press – talking.
We used this topical issue to generate noise and an opportunity for Continental to talk about tyre safety. By taking the issue further and naming and shaming the ten worst, potholed streets in Britain, we created a clever news hook to spark interest outside of technical motoring pages.
Continental was able to offer tyre and road safety advice in line with its core brand values. The story scored national coverage in the Daily Express and Sun and was picked up in countless major regional titles.
